Indian tribe, gambling firm funded DeLay trip
An Indian tribe and a gambling services company made donations to a Washington public policy group that covered most of the cost of a $70,000 trip to Britain by House Majority Leader Tom DeLay, R-Texas, his wife, two aides and two lobbyists in 2000, two months before DeLay helped kill legislation opposed by the tribe and the company.

San Pablo casino deal rejected by key sponsor
The congressman who helped change federal law to allow the Lytton Band of Pomo Indians to pursue a Las Vegas-style casino in San Pablo urged state lawmakers Friday to reject the deal cut last year by the tribe and Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger.
